I wasn't so sure about Cyberduck at first. But it was the only half-decent free FTP program I could find so I stuck with it. I can't find fault with the latest version, though, so be sure to give it a try. Fugu is highly recommended, but unfortunately it only works for SFTP. Regular FTP is on the roadmap, but it doesn't look like it's going to be here for a while.
If you've got a website that's updated frequently, you really should be thinking about putting in an RSS feed. It's a cool way to let your regular readers keep up to date.
It's amazing that this wonderful program for creating web albums is free. It's easy to use and has many great features. There is lots of support at the developer's website, and a willingness to throw in even more improvements. A similar program getting good reviews is JAlbum.
NetNewsWire Lite is a very cool program I use every day. It grabs RSS feeds from a number of websites I like to keep tabs on. Click on a headline to get a summary of the article. Double click to go to the website. Other great RSS readers are NewsMac and PulpFiction Lite.
NewsWatcher-X is little more than a carbonized version of the classic NewsWatcher that served people interested in news groups so well years ago. A version with added features is called MT-Newswatcher. Of course, you could just use the Google Groups.
This is a promising new WYSIWYG web editor along the lines of the one included in Mozilla, although it also has a content management system. It seems to be primarily for Linux, so you might find the interface a bit jarring.
It's still in the early stages of development, but already it does the basics well. Keep an eye on this one, because there are big plans for this open source project.
